Tabitha Abbott is a contemporary artist based in Denver, CO. 

Abbott grew up moving throughout the Midwestern United states, attending 13 schools before graduating with a Masters degree in Accounting at the University of Wyoming. 

Since graduation Abbott has balanced her growth as an artist with a career as an IT auditor. 

Her portfolio consists of vivid oil paintings, surreal watercolor portraiture, playful mixed media sculptures, and sci-fi inspired animations. Her work is best known for the integration of her signature organic black and white pattern.

Abbott’s current body of work ‘Under Audit’ is a series of oil paintings featuring colorful insects and dark geometric backgrounds. Through her creations Tabitha provides her viewers with a peek into the mind of an artist growing in the world of accounting. 

Tabitha continues to hone her craft while immersed in American corporate culture. Her current inspirations include wilted flowers, black coffee, moss, oil paint, and excel spreadsheets.
